Juan Elizalde came to Fairfax in 2022 and had a vision that he shared with his wife, Tina Castillo. The vision was to create a delicious take out restaurant to serve Chicago style hotdogs, hot sandwiches, philly cheesesteaks, unique sides and more. After working on the vision for two long years, we opened the doors of Lolo’s Chicago Style Hotdogs on July 10th, 2025. Wondering where the name Lolo’s came from? Tina’s father, Teodoro Castillo, nicknamed Lolo, passed away in March of 2022. He loved food, so we worked to honor his memory by opening this restaurant.
